Womanade is a philanthropic organization made up of women who live in The Pinehills who come together throughout the year to support our mission, learn about the needs in our community, and build connections with one another.
There are many ways to be part of Womanade. Members can attend our events, make a donation, volunteer, help with events and programs, or take a more active role by serving on our Board of Directors.
Whether you give your time, your resources, or simply your support, you are helping make our community stronger.
Mission
To provide short-term, emergency financial assistance to families with children in the Plymouth Public Schools.
Why We Do It
Womanade works directly with a liaison from the Plymouth Public Schools. Requests for assistance come through school professionals — including teachers, school nurses, psychologists, guidance counselors, and principals — who know the students and families they serve.
This trusted relationship allows Womanade to respond quickly and provide assistance where it can make an immediate difference.
Depending on a family's needs, assistance may include:
Groceries and other essential food
Rent and housing expenses
Utility bills
Clothing
Medical expenses
Personal and household necessities
Our assistance is intended to provide short-term relief during an emergency. By helping with an essential expense, Womanade can give a family some breathing room when they need it most.

How to help
Anyone interested in supporting our mission is encouraged to send a donation in the form of a check made out to Womanade at The Pinehills. Our mailing address is:

Residents of The Pinehills are welcome to join us at our bi-monthly gatherings. Our meetings are held on the second Monday of January, March, May, July, September, and November. Attendees are encouraged to make a donation in the suggested amount of $25 per person when attending a meeting.
We now accept donations on Venmo.
Light refreshments are provided by our guests. If you would like to provide a sweet or savory refreshment for an upcoming meeting, please contact us at womanadeph@gmail.com.
If you are interested in becoming more involved in the “hands on” work of Womanade, you are encouraged to consider joining the Board of Directors. Positions are open to residents of The Pinehills.
